Troy Deeney’s team of the week: Guehi, Martinez, Tielemans, Igor Jesus

Youri Tielemans (Aston Villa): He was the best player on the field by a mile. He is slowly becoming Villa’s most important player. He dictates the play, breaks it up, and does everything right. A very good player, and it pains me to say that as a Birmingham City fan.

Ibrahim Sangari (Nottingham Forest): We lost him during the Africa Cup of Nations and it was not the same midfield. He’s a pitbull next to Elliot Anderson. He does all the ugly things and breaks them. A fantastic footballer and part of a strong defensive unit, which Forest clearly needs.

Emiliano Buendia (Aston Villa): They scored unbelievable goals, all vital to their team’s attacking outlet. For me, Buendia showed a little class and charm. I like to see players taking risks.

Patrick Durgo (Manchester United): Durgu could never play a game like this in his life. He has been unbelievable since Michael Carrick arrived. That goal in the win over Arsenal was unbelievable and worthy of winning any football match in the world.

Estevao Willian (Chelsea): Young, exciting player who scored a goal and an assist, but that was against Crystal Palace, so he doesn’t get as much chat as others.
