In the competition between Tile and Chipolo for the most mainstream tracker, I wouldn’t have guessed that Chipolo would be the one to get an exclusive collaboration with both Apple and Google (cough, congressional antitrust hearings, cough). And yet here we are. Chipolo has three separate product lines: Chipolo Pop, Loop, and Card, as well as packages that work with the Chipolo app; All products are compatible with iOS and Android devices.

WIRED editor Julian Choccato and I have tested several of these lines. It’s priced similarly to Tile and comes in a variety of colors. Setup is simple, especially if you’re using your phone’s native app. I currently have a card in my wallet. It’s about the same size as one credit card and about the thickness of two of them. It’s also loud enough for me to hear it even when it’s in my purse, inside my bag, and in another room. As with Tile, you can choose to get alerts if you leave home without your keys.
