Elise Hughes said Wales are aiming to win every remaining match in their Women’s World Cup qualifying group after drawing with the Czech Republic.
Hughes came off the bench to head home the equalizer in the 93rd minute as Wales drew 2-2 in their opening match on the road to the 2027 World Cup in Brazil.
Ryan Wilkinson’s side were lacking their best in Uherske Hradest, but did their best to secure a potentially vital spot in Group B1.
Wales and the Czech Republic are expected to battle it out for top spot, with both countries now facing winnable matches against Montenegro and Albania before they face off again in Cardiff in the final group match in June.
Wilkinson’s side will be looking to secure their first win when they take on Montenegro in Llanelli on Saturday (16:30 GMT).
Crystal Palace striker Hughes said: “There are no excuses for us not to try to win every match in this group. We will go home, reset ourselves and look forward to playing on our home turf again.”
“We are looking forward to putting things right and getting the three points and then finishing this camp on a high.”
