💡 Here’s what you’ll learn:
Jey Uso’s heel turn has been teased for months, and now it seems closer than ever. WWE’s YEET Master has gradually introduced a new aggressive side to his character, and his frustration was on full display after losing his World Heavyweight Championship match against CM Punk in the main event on Saturday night.
His locker room segment with Paul Heyman has confirmed that the transformation could happen before Survivor Series: WarGames. In that regard, here are four things that could happen if the former Bloodline right-hand man turned bad.
4. Jey Uso could get a new entrance
Uso’s entrance was one of the reasons he became so popular in the WWE Universe. The live audience loves singing along to his theme song and talking to him. However, since heels are supposed to be hated by fans, they can ditch the music and get into the crowd.
We saw John Cena turn things around earlier this year as well, and it could be the same with Jay if he embraces the dark side.
3. He can join the vision
Jey Uso and Paul Heyman’s conversation was very interesting, to say the least. The former world heavyweight champion claimed that he was not taking advice from Roman Reigns or Jimmy Uso, and that he was only listening to himself.
It appears Heyman has convinced him to join The Vision, and he could accept the offer with a huge twist in the coming weeks. This would be a massive transformation ahead of WarGames and would instantly change the perception of his character.
2. Challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship again
With Bron Breakker looking set to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship from The Vision, the quest for the world title will require Jey Uso to be on his own. Assuming he doesn’t join The Vision, he could feud with CM Punk for the title until the end of the year.
This way, Breaker will have plenty of time to exert his dominance in the main event picture, while Uso can explore his new persona during his feud with Punk with new aggression.
1. Feud with Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso
Jey Uso has been very vocal about the fact that he doesn’t take any advice from Reigns or his brother Jimmy. WWE could build on this factor and have him renew his rivalry with Jimmy. Only this time, he will be the villain of the story.
Jey could align with Team Vision at Survivor Series: WarGames and feud with Jimmy until Reigns returns, and potentially have a singles match with Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble 2026. If WWE has plans to make him the next Tribal Chief, this would be a great way to go about it.
Otherwise, he could have a long-term program with Jimmy, potentially culminating in the brothers facing each other again at WrestleMania 42. Such a storyline would allow them to revisit their much-criticized match at WrestleMania XL.
