Sponsors of a bill to force the Justice Department to publicly release its files on Jeffrey Epstein called on the Senate to “not screw it up.”

“I don’t want the D.C. swamp to play any games,” said Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., who appeared at a news conference Tuesday with survivors of Epstein’s abuse. “They need to pass this in the Senate and they shouldn’t have to amend it.”

Khanna also praised fellow Republicans Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene, who helped lead the petition effort to force the House to vote on Tuesday to release the Epstein files.

“They both suffered, you know, extraordinary political consequences for what they did,” Khanna said.
