The International Federation of Gymnastics asked the “CAS” to oblige the International Federation of Gymnastics “to take the necessary measures to ensure Israel’s participation in the championships” or to “transfer or cancel” the event, which continues until October 25.

“We are very disappointed for the gymnasts, both men and women, and the professional teams, but not only that, we are deeply concerned about the recent decisions that could negatively impact the future of all our delegations and the future of the sport in general,” Dolgobiat said on Instagram.
He added: “We continue to fight, hoping to achieve justice, but unfortunately we will no longer be able to compete in this world championship.”
Dolgobiat was one of six gymnasts – along with Eyal Indig, Ron Pyatov, Lehi Raz, Yali Shoshani and Ronnie Shamai – who submitted applications to CAS in cooperation with the IGF.
Dolgobiat (28 years old) won Olympic floor gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and silver in Paris last year. He is also a two-time European champion.
On Monday, 20 surviving Israeli hostages and hundreds of Palestinian detainees were reunited with their families as part of a ceasefire agreement.
