A data breach at blockchain-based lending giant Figure has affected nearly a million customers, according to a security researcher.

The data also included customer names, dates of birth, physical addresses, and phone numbers.
Cybercrime group ShinyHunters told TechCrunch last week that it was responsible for the cyberattack targeting the figure. The group posted 2.5 gigabytes of data allegedly stolen from Shape on its leak site, where hackers embarrass their victims and publish the stolen data if they fail to blackmail the hacked companies.
