The ‘Newquay Bomb’ has only fought once since his loss to Bentley, beating Panamanian driver Omer Rodriguez in Torquay in May.
Pauls also signed with promoter Frank Warren, a move he hopes will help him get back into title fights.
“It will open more doors for me,” he said.
“They have access to all of Queensberry’s shows.
“They have the ability to get me on those shows where I was kind of cold before that. I didn’t have the access and they have more opportunities for all the different platforms.”
Boles beat Nathan Heaney to capture the British title in July 2024 after drawing with the Stoke fighter in an epic bout earlier last year.
His first defense was defeat to Bentley – only the third of his career – and the Cornish fighter says he learned a lot from the experience.
“I watched the fight and I wasn’t really outgunned or outmatched.
“It’s just the luck of the draw sometimes in boxing, a certain shot lands a certain way, I broke my eye and that kind of lost me in the fight – I lost on points.
“Experience at this high level will stand me in good stead for bigger fights in the future, it’s become more familiar to me now.”
