A massive interference almost resulted in Rhea Ripley and EO Sky losing the SNME Women’s Tag Team Titles

Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky, or Rhiyo as they are collectively known, remain the Women’s Tag Team Champions after the main event on Saturday Night. However, one Superstar almost brought his title reign to an end before it even began.

With Rhiyo being the Women’s Tag Team Champion, it looks like the division has undergone a bit of a change. They successfully dethroned The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) earlier this month, cementing their partnership that has continued to grow stronger over the months as they share the ring together in pursuit of the Women’s World Championship. Either way, the rivalry eventually led to a multi-team match for RAW’s number one contender, with the duo of Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez winning the match to secure the championship title against Riho in Saturday night’s main event.

While Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez have proven to be a very good couple, the help and interference of their Doomsday co-star Raquel Rodriguez was no surprise. She directed Rhea Ripley as well as Io Sky, and the titles would certainly have changed if not for one name – Stephanie Faker.

The current Women’s World Champion finally returns after her brief hiatus and will take out Raquel Rodriguez, directly assisting Rhea Ripley and Io Sky at the end of the match. While Liv Morgan hit Oblivion on Sky, Ripley slyly tagged herself in during the whole process, meaning the second Morgan was going for the pin, and Sky wasn’t technically the woman of the law.

So Ripley swooped in and hit Riptide on her longtime rival, securing the pinfall and retaining the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Although it may be a small doomsday hiccup, it is unlikely to go away just yet.
