The Wales squad gathered at their base on Monday to begin preparations for the trip to Liechtenstein on Saturday and the home match with North Macedonia the following Tuesday.
Bellamy’s side are certain to qualify for the qualifiers next March and can secure home advantage in the semi-finals if they win their final two group matches to finish second in Group 10.
After leaving Cardiff when his contract expired in the summer, Ramsey has opted to extend his playing career in Mexico after declaring his ambition to represent Wales at next year’s World Cup.
But as was the case at his boyhood club in South Wales, Ramsey’s time with the Pumas was cut short by injury problems.
He also had to deal with the disappearance of his dog in Mexico, which his family said would “continue to haunt them”.
Ramsey and his family have now returned home to Cardiff, and although he is not in the Wales squad and has not been officially named to the coaching staff, he will be able to contribute.
When he was injured at Cardiff last season, he helped with analysis during first-team matches and in coaching the youth teams.
Having completed the A License Training Badge, Ramsey applied to study for the Pro License, which is the highest qualification and requirement for officiating in most top level competitions.
