After the 2026 Winter Olympics, snowboarding will never be the same again

These athletes here have reminded a lot of people that Americans are good people. Americans are good people. And Americans stand up for the little guy, stand up for their communities, and speak out because these are the rights Americans are given.

You watch the news and see what the current administration is saying and doing that is truly terrible. It’s fucked up shit. I don’t even think what these people are saying is political. They talk about things that are happening in their communities.

Some have faced backlash for speaking out. Amber Glenn said she received a “scary amount of hate/threats.” Vice President J.D. Vance and President Trump responded to some of the athletes who made comments. They seem to be putting themselves out there, and the echo chamber seems louder than it did a few years ago.

One hundred percent. This is 100 times higher than during the first Trump administration. Sometimes it’s scary to say something, because it seems like there might be repercussions. They target people, sending them away without due process. So it’s very important to speak out now. It’s also scarier.

I don’t want to take up too much of your time, but I want to end on a lighter note. Have you been watching? Hot competition?

I wasn’t watching it when everyone was really into it to begin with. Finally, it was like the second or third week of the movie was over, and I thought to myself, “Okay, now I have to watch it.” People really built up how raunchy it was. I thought to myself, “I’ve definitely seen this on a different show on Netflix before.”

right?

There was a lot of sex in the first few episodes. By the time we got to the fourth or fifth episode, I understood why there was so much sex, because you had to know all the hot stuff in the moment. Because that fifth episode was some of the best episodes of television I’ve ever watched.

Yes, it was really good.

With a kiss on the ice, just when I thought the episode was amazing, Elijah called Shane and said: “I’m going to…”

“I’m coming to the hut!”

That’s when I said, “Oh my God.” It’s amazing. The performances were great. I think that’s why I skipped it. I loved it.

And now we have a new group of fans joining the game of hockey.

Things like this are great for the sport as long as the sport embraces these types of shows, and they seem to really want to. Sports really should be for everyone.
