AJ Styles has already announced that 2026 will be his final year as an in-ring competitor. After defeating Nakamura in the main event of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, The Phenomenal One is now set to head to the Royal Rumble PLE and put his career on the line against “Career Killer” Gunther.

With the latter having so much momentum, fans were wondering if Styles’ match against The Ring General would ultimately be his retirement match.
