How to get to the Monkey King of the Abyss

There is a King Monkey NPC inside the cave in Sunken Wilds. Since this sub-biome is located near Spirit Roots, you will need a pipe with a maximum depth of 600 meters and sufficient oxygen. Purchase a Ruined Tube or Lost Spirit Tube before heading to the Sunken Wilds as these tubes allow you to enter critical depths.

Inside the Sunken Wilds Cave, you’ll find the Builder Monkey NPC. Interact with this character and complete all their tasks to build the bridge next to them. Once the bridge is repaired, move across it to find King Monkey sitting regally while surrounded by guards on both sides.

King Monkey offers seven missions and all of them require you to catch fish of different types. All required aquatic creatures can be hunted in Sunken Wilds and the ocean. Mosasaurus meat, in particular, is one of the rarest fish in the new biome, forcing players to switch servers and find it.

Star Shards, Oxygen Pods, Geodes, and Potions are quest rewards. Star Shards are used to jumpstart the race, Oxygen Capsules are needed to resupply your tube with oxygen, Geodes give you Artifacts, and Potions give you temporary boosts.

How to get Wild Gun and Wild Tube in Abyss

The Wild Gun and Wild Tube are located behind the locked door in the King Monkey’s lair. To open this door, complete the entire King Monkey questline.

The Wild Gun costs $460,000, making it the most expensive weapon in the game currently. It has the highest damage out of all the other weapons, and has good cooldown and control ability.
