Rep. Dave Taylor, R-Ohio, says he condemns the photo found in his Washington office that appears to depict “a despicable and completely inappropriate symbol near a staff member.”
This symbol was not explained. But a Politico story on the subject included a photo it obtained of an American flag that had been modified to include a swastika. The flag was attached to the bulletin board.

“The content of that photo does not reflect the values or standards of this office, my staff, or myself, and I condemn that in the strongest terms,” Taylor said. “When I learned of this matter, I immediately directed a comprehensive investigation alongside Capitol Police, which remains ongoing. No further comment will be provided until it is completed.”
Taylor made the statement on his congressional website with a headline that referred to the matter as “office sabotage.”
