Apple is said to be working on three wearable devices powered by artificial intelligence technology

Late last month, The Information reported that Apple was developing an AI wearable, an AirTag-sized necklace with cameras that could attach to a user’s shirt. Now, Bloomberg writes, development of such a device — along with two other AI-powered components — is accelerating, as Apple looks to remain competitive with other tech giants racing to launch similar products.

In addition to the AI ​​pin, Apple is also accelerating development of its upcoming AI-powered smart glasses, codenamed N50, the report claims. Apple clearly has competition in this area, as other companies — including Meta (arguably the most successful company when it comes to smart glasses) and Snap (which plans to release its own “specs” later this year) — are working on similar products.

Apple’s new smart glasses, which are supposed to include a high-resolution camera, may see a general release sooner rather than later, with Bloomberg reporting that the company is “targeting a production start as early as December, ahead of a general release in 2027.”

Additionally, Bloomberg reports that Apple is working on AirPods with new AI capabilities.

All of these elements will be designed to connect to the iPhone, and will include Siri, the company’s virtual assistant, as a crucial element of the user experience, the outlet notes.
