💡 Here’s what you’ll learn:

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta said he was “concerned” about the muscle injury suffered by Viktor Djukeris during the 2-0 win over Burnley.

Gyokeris, who signed for Arsenal in a £64m transfer in the summer, scored the opening goal on Saturday before being withdrawn at half-time.

The 27-year-old striker has scored four goals in the Premier League this season but has not trained since the Burnley match and will not be available for Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Slavia Prague (17:45 GMT).

“No, he is definitely not available,” Arteta said when asked by BBC Sport if Gyokeris was in the squad.

“He did not train today. We need to do more tests and scans in the next few days to understand the extent of the injury. But he is not available.”

Arteta was then asked if it was a short-term issue for the Swedish striker but he did not provide a positive update.

He said: “No, I’m worried because he didn’t have many muscle problems and he needed to leave the field and he felt something.”

“Obviously that’s not a good sign at all, especially for a player who is so explosive.

“So we’re digging a little deeper to understand where we are in terms of infection and we’ll make an announcement the moment we know.”

Arteta said that “seven” Arsenal players are currently ruled out due to injury, including strikers Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, Noni Madueke and Gabriel Jesus.
