💡 Key idea:

Sydney Roosters prop Lindsay Collins has been promoted to the starting lineup in the only personnel change in the squad starting at Wembley, with Patrick Carrigan moving into the loose forward role vacated by Yeo.

Lindsay Smith, Yeo’s Penrith Panthers teammate, steps up to the bench, with Jacob Preston named among the reserves.

“Harry and all the senior players for that matter have stepped up after Isah’s unfortunate injury last week,” said Walters, a former Kangaroo midfielder.

“Although we would love to have Essa there, he will still contribute in a number of other ways to the group this week. He’s a natural leader, and so is Harry, so we’re in good hands this week.

“I’m really happy with the way we started the series, but it’s a new week now and our focus is on preparing well and being at our best this Saturday.”

Brisbane Broncos star Rhys Walsh will once again play at fullback, having scored two tries and won the Man of the Match award on his international debut at Wembley.

The second Test will start on Saturday, and the third at AMT Headingley on November 8, at 14:30 GMT and both broadcast live on BBC One.

Australia: Rhys Walsh, Mark Nawakanitawasi, Kotoni Staggs, Jehamat Shibasaki, Josh Addo-Carr, Cameron Munster, Nathan Cleary, Lindsay Collins, Harry Grant (captain), Tino Faasumalawi, Angus Crighton, Hudson Young, Patrick Carrigan.

Exchanges: Tom Dearden, Lindsay Smith, Robyn Cotter, Keon Kolwamatangi.
