Aston Villa manager Unai Emery said the club is looking to tie down key players Morgan Rogers, John McGinn and Matty Cash to new contracts.
The trio have started every Premier League game this season and have been vital to Villa’s comeback under Emery.
England midfielder Rogers, 23, is under contract until 2030, 31-year-old Scott McGinn is under contract until 2027, while Polish right-back Cash, 28, also has another two years on his current contract.
Emery said: “The club is working in one-on-one mode with Matty Cash, with Morgan and with John McGinn.
“They are very important players for us. Their commitment to Aston Villa is huge, they are always very positive, and they play with their character.”
“Now maybe they will improve, and this is very important for the team.”
Rogers scored 14 goals for Villa last season, and became a key player for Thomas Tuchel in the national team.
McGinn has made 251 league appearances for Villa, while Cash has been a regular since his move from Nottingham Forest in 2020.
