Against Fulham, Nottingham Forest failed to score in a Premier League match for the 14th time in 30 games this season.

They had the better chances in the goalless draw, while they might have won a penalty in the second half and scored the opener had substitute Dan Ndoye not turned away offside on two occasions.

Forest full-back Ola Aina, who hit the crossbar in the second half, told BBC Sport: “Like in many other games, we are creating good chances but it’s not working now.

“I hope you can take advantage of these opportunities in the upcoming matches.

“We have the quality and spirit for it [change the team’s luck in front of goal]. Honestly, I think the problem is that it will not suit us.

“We just have to keep believing in what we are doing, and ultimately in each other, because we are the ones who are going to turn things around.”

Forest will look to come back from a 1-0 deficit in the second leg of their Europa League round of 16 tie with Danish side Midtjylland on Thursday, but also on the horizon is a huge league clash against Tottenham on March 22.

Forest coach Vitor Pereira said the match against Tottenham was “very important”, adding: “We are in a position to go there to compete for the three points.”
