WWE superstar Becky Lynch recently took to social media to send a message after her WrestleMania 42 opponent was revealed on the latest edition of Raw. It’s none other than AJ Lee.

Since losing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to AJ Lee at Elimination Chamber 2026, Becky Lynch has taken to social media, claiming that she has never lost the title. On Raw last week, The Man eliminated Lee after the latter’s match against Bayley.

Now, on the latest edition of the Red Brand show, Big Time Becks came out to cut a promo, taking shots at the former Divas Champion. She was then interrupted by Lee, who came running to the ring to lay her hands on Lynch. However, the former women’s world champion escaped into the crowd. AJ then officially confirmed that she would face Becky for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 42.

Moments after this announcement, Becky Lynch cut a promo that she uploaded to her X/Twitter account. Big Time Becks claimed that she would bring back the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion at ‘Mania.

She also confirmed that this would be her 10th WrestleMania match, calling it her “own turf.”

“I’m getting my title back at WrestleMania. My domain, not hers. I’ve competed twice, twice at WrestleMania. Me? This will be my 10th title, 10th best title,” she said.

During the last edition of Raw, AJ Lee claimed that she is the best wrestler of her generation, the current generation, and perhaps the future generation as well. The former WWE Divas Champion then made things personal by saying she’s Becky Lynch’s daughter’s favorite wrestler as well.

Big Time Becks then pointed out that the last time Lee competed at WrestleMania, she filed her papers and left the company for a decade. The man then vowed to end AJ’s showbiz career this year.

It will be interesting to see what the creative team led by Triple H has planned for AJ Lee vs. Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42.
