The global governing body also previously told the ECB that any footage filmed in the PMOA must not carry audio or be released before the match has finished.

Speaking at the conclusion of Day 4, Stokes explained why he made the public announcement during play, detailing that it was a plan between his agents and the ECB.

“I just said, ‘You guys are working with Michael Lomb and Neil Fairbrother, who are working with me, and you guys have come up with a plan.’

Stokes was in the middle of a bowling spell at the time of the announcement, and with his first delivery after news of his retirement broke, he took the New Zealand wicket of Zak Foulkes.

The Test and Stokes’ international career did not end until the next day.

The ICC adopted what it described as the “minimum standards” of the Anti-Corruption Law in order to support its anti-corruption law.

Neither the European Central Bank nor the International Criminal Court commented. The ICC’s letter was sent the day before the Women’s T20 World Cup final at Lord’s, when ECB president Richard Thompson met Jay Shah, the head of world cricket’s governing body. The European Central Bank has not yet responded to the International Criminal Court.

Stokes’ retirement has left England searching for a new Test captain in time for the three-match series against Pakistan in August.

Vice-captain Harry Brook said it would be an “honor” to succeed him, but it is understood England are taking time to make an appointment.

One factor in the decision may have been uncertainty over the future of other figures in the England management following a string of poor results in Test cricket and a series of off-field controversies.

Both head coach Brendon McCullum and director of cricket Rob Key were backed in the spring following a review of the Ashes series, which England lost 4-1.

The ECB is now considering the situation surrounding the men’s team, but may wait until the end of the ongoing white-ball series against India before making any official announcements.

Neither Key nor CEO Richard Gould have spoken publicly since Stokes’ retirement.
