Brendon McCollum and Rob Key are set to retain ECB support

The ECB plans to make a new non-executive appointment to its board in order to enhance cricket expertise.

In Australia, Test captain Ben Stokes has thrown his support behind McCullum, who is contracted until the autumn of 2027.

That support was echoed by Brock on Thursday, who said McCollum should remain in his position “125 percent.”

“I’ve said many times that he’s the best coach I’ve ever had,” Brock said. “Our partnership has been good throughout the competition and since I took over. I hope it continues for a long time.”
