Sunday’s Challenge Cup match between the Cheetahs and Ulster has been moved to Dukes Rugby Club in s-Hertogenbosch and will now take place at 1:00 GMT.

The two teams were scheduled to meet in Amsterdam with kick-off at 15:15, but with temperatures expected to drop below zero in the capital, the match was moved to South Holland with the NRCA Stadium deemed unplayable.

The governing body of European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) also confirmed that the match will now take place behind closed doors.

“EPCR, Rugby Nederland and Toyota Cheetahs continue to monitor weather conditions, in case this further impacts the match,” an Ulster statement read.

“Ulster Rugby is seeking further clarification from tournament organizers regarding the implications of this decision and next steps, particularly for fans who have already made travel arrangements.”
