✅ **What You’ll Learn**:

The eight winners of the qualifiers will meet the top eight from the league stage.

From this point on, the competition adopts a knock-out system, with each match other than the final being contested over two legs.

As with the playoffs, the final standings of teams in the league stage will influence seeding in the round of 16, with seeded teams – those who finish in the top eight in the league – given the advantage of playing the second leg at home.

This is the first season in which the position placed by teams in the league stage will also affect the quarter-final and semi-final seeding.

Teams in first to fourth place at the end of the league stage will be seeded for the quarter-finals and are therefore given home advantage in the second leg of the quarter-finals.

The two teams that finished first and runner-up in the league will also be seeded into the semi-finals, which will earn them the advantage of playing the second leg of the semi-final at home should they reach that stage.

If the seeded team does not advance to the quarterfinals or semifinals, the team that knocks them out will inherit their seeded position.
