England back-row Chandler Cunningham South has signed a new ‘multi-year’ contract with Harlequins.

The 22-year-old joined the Prem from London Irish in 2023 and has made 35 appearances in the famous quarters, as well as 18 international caps.

He has played in four of Quins’ five league games so far this season and is part of Steve Borthwick’s England squad for the autumn internationals.

Cunningham-South has recently been linked with a move to Prem Sale Sharks.

“I’m really happy to re-sign with the club, it’s a good feeling. I think there’s a lot to offer as a team this year and beyond, and I want to be part of that,” Cunningham-South told the club’s website., external.

“Our coaches have come in – my generation [Jason Gilmore] And swag [Toby Booth] – They have helped me a lot, and the environment they create is amazing.

“Jelly’s detail on defense is exceptional. It’s an area I’m trying to improve on and he makes time to help me improve.”

Cunningham-South scored four tries in nine appearances for England in the 2024-25 season, playing in all five of the team’s Six Nations matches.

He did not feature in Borthwick’s squad for England’s 25-7 win over Australia at Twickenham on Saturday.
