Connor Benn: Eddie Hearn warns boxer that Dana White ‘humiliated’ UFC champion Tom Aspinall

Hearn said he expected “loyalty” from Ben after standing by him during his doping ban, which was eventually lifted in November 2024.

Penn’s profile skyrocketed in part thanks to his doping scandal, which was intertwined with an epic rivalry with Chris Eubank Jr.

Hearn described Benn’s loss to Zuffa Boxing as “painful” but insisted Benn has now joined the “tough” clients.

“Look what they did to him [UFC heavyweight champion] Tom Aspinall. “Tom Aspinall had his eye literally gouged out in a fight, and Dana White called him a crybaby and threw him aside, humiliating him in front of everyone, while the man was having surgery to save his sight,” Hearn said.

“Dana White wouldn’t have done what she did to Connor Penn. But we’re different people, and we have a different passion for the sport.

“You’re a pawn in the game if you’re Connor Penn, right? We’re different organizations.”

“I’ve said it before: These guys are too tough and ruthless. They don’t care about the sport of boxing.

“In my opinion they don’t care about the fighters, it’s just a business for them.”
