Paris Saint-Germain striker Desiree Du is set to miss another spell after leaving the field on crutches following his side’s 1-1 draw with Lorient on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old Doe left the field crying after he appeared to be injured in his right thigh after the hour mark.
He recently returned to action after injuring his calf while playing for France during the international break in September.
“It’s always bad news when there are injuries,” Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique said.
“It’s a strange injury. I don’t know his exact condition. I hope it’s not a serious injury.”
After the match, Agence France-Presse reported that Du left the Stade du Mostour on crutches and avoided putting weight on his right leg as he boarded the Paris Saint-Germain bus.
Doe enjoyed a breakout season in 2024-25, scoring 16 goals and providing 16 assists in 61 appearances as PSG won their first Champions League alongside the domestic double.
Last week, he scored his first two goals of the season in a 7-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, before scoring again in Paris Saint-Germain’s 3-0 league win over Brest on Saturday.
Paris Saint-Germain remained at the top of the French League by one point, despite dropping points for the fourth time this season after Marseille drew 2-2 with Angers and Lyon tied 3-3 with Paris.
