Dominik Mysterio once again expresses his loyalty to Liv Morgan with a sweet gesture

Dominik Mysterio remains the AAA Mega Champion despite losing the Intercontinental Championship to Penta. The Third Generation star recently made headlines after Finn Balor was fired from The Judgment Day movie.

At the recent AAA Rey de Reyes event, the WWE Superstar made his entrance during the El Grande Americano celebration party. The legendary fighter was scheduled to be presented with the Rey de Reyes sword before Mysterio appeared and was asked if Americano wanted to capture the Mega Championship right away.

Interestingly enough, Dominik Mysterio was wearing merchandise from his on-screen girlfriend Liv Morgan. His shirt claimed she was the greatest Royal Rumble winner of all time, which was a token of loyalty with another heart-warming gesture.

Americano was unable to challenge The Judgment Day member for his title, as he was attacked by The Original El Grande Americano shortly after.

Dominik Mysterio remembers facing John Cena at Survivor Series

Mysterio faced John Cena at the legend’s final live event in WWE, defeating him to regain the Intercontinental Championship. Last year, he talked about confronting Cena in an out-of-character moment while talking to him Brad Gilmore of the group:

“Super, very surreal. Not only was this John Cena’s last PLE, and his last Survivor Series, it was also [also] The first wrestling event ever held at Petco Park in San Diego. Brother, I was born and raised in San Diego… and lived there. I did a bunch of things I wasn’t supposed to in downtown San Diego too…but man, that was so surreal for me. I walk into the city I came from, walk out as a double champion, and defeat John Cena. This is crazy, man. You can’t write it. Things like that they just write themselves. “It’s like a fairytale ending for me,” he said.

It now remains to be seen how Dominik Mysterio will be booked on the Road to WrestleMania 42.
