✅ **What You’ll Learn**:

Top seed Raducano won her first three matches since parting ways with coach Francis Roig after a disappointing second-round exit at the Australian Open in January.

She has now qualified for her first semi-final since the Washington Open in July, and a win would see her reach her first final since the US Open.

In the next round, Raducanu will face Ukrainian Oleksandra Olenikova, who achieved her first victory in the top 50 over Chinese Wang Xinyu, seeded fourth, to reach the semi-finals for the first time in a WTA tournament.

With a temporary tattoo of a bat on her face – a nod to Transylvanian folklore and nature – Olenikova saved 21 of 23 break points against Wang to win 6-4, 6-4.

Katie Boulter was also victorious on Thursday, defeating Czech Linda Frovertova 6-3, 6-2 to reach the semi-finals of the Ostrava Open.

This is the 29-year-old Briton’s first appearance in the semi-finals since winning the Paris Challenger title in May last year.

After struggling for consistency throughout 2025, Poulter parted ways with long-time coach Biljana Veselinovic and hired Michael Joyce to help her improve her game.

She will face American Katie Volynets, ranked 96th in the world, for a place in the final in the Czech Republic.
