✅ Here’s what you’ll learn:

England were on the verge of battling Argentina in the second half as an eye-catching debut at Twickenham from Max Ojomoh helped extend their winning streak to 11 successive Tests.

Ojomoh scored one try and crossed one in the first half as England led 17-3 at half-time.

Their advantage would have been more certain had hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie’s effort not been ruled out for a minor knock on the final play of the first half.

But Argentina, who came back from a 21-point deficit to beat Scotland last weekend, clawed their way back into the competition.

Justo Picardo slipped before two penalty kicks from Tomas Albornoz and Santiago Carreras reduced the gap to 17-16 after the hour mark.

But England appear to have regained the momentum at the right time.

A big break from Alex Coles created a platform from which Ojomoh emerged for Henry Slade to wander under the posts.

George Ford’s conversion and penalty moved England within 11 points, only for Rodrigo Isgro’s last-minute converted try to set up a final play.

The Pumas, needing to try to snatch victory, bombed away with the support of a small but vocal group of fans in the stands.

However, the final line-up, 10 meters from England’s line, went astray to raucous cheers from the majority of 80,807 spectators, and Alex Mitchell kicked into the stands to ensure England’s success in concluding a 2025 edition that has seen just one defeat, a defeat to Dublin in February.
