George Ford returns at full-back and Freddie Steward at full-back for Saturday’s much-anticipated clash between England and New Zealand at the Allianz Stadium in Twickenham.

Tom Roebuck has recovered from an ankle problem and replaces the injured Tommy Freeman on the right wing.

In attack, Sam Underhill starts at the openside with Jay Pepper on the blindside and Ben Earl at number eight.

With Ollie Chisum out, Alex Coles captain Maro Itoje is in the second row, while Finn Baxter, Jimmy George and Joe Hayes are in the front row.

Coach Steve Borthwick once again opted for a 6-2 division on the bench, with Chandler Cunningham South, Tom Curry and Henry Pollock included in the list of reinforcements.

Luke Cowan-Dickie, Ellis Genge and Will Stuart – all from the British and Irish Lions this summer – are part of a formidable bench.

Marcus Smith is preferred over Finn Smith as an outside back position.

Versatile Elliot Daly, who has trained with the team but has not played since breaking his arm while playing for the British and Irish Lions in July, has also been ruled out of Round 23.
