Scotland’s women continued their revival at the European Curling Championships, beating Switzerland to reach the final against Sweden.
The Scots – last year’s silver medalists and runners-up in this tournament – lost four of their opening six matches, but won their final three of the round to advance to the semi-finals.
In a cagey contest, Rebecca Morrison’s rink won 8-5 to secure a fourth successive win and book a place in the final.
This match will be broadcast live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app at 08:00 GMT on Saturday.
Scotland’s men will try to join them when they face Sweden in the semi-final on Friday (07:00) – also live on the BBC Sport website and app and BBC iPlayer.
The Bruce Mowat Arena finished their tour with a 100% record, with the skip claiming an 8-5 win on the final stone against Italy earlier on Thursday.
“We are really happy with the performance,” Mowat said. “I’m happy with the way we treated the game like it was actually a playoff game.
“We will have a hammer in both games regardless of whether we are in the final or the bronze medal game
“It’s good to know that we performed well with the hammer all week and scored early in games, and that’s what we have to do tomorrow against Sweden.”
