Thai striker Suablack Tor Pran49 is looking to apply the lessons he learned from his recent setback to Pakorn PK Saenchai last December in his next fight.

The NP Suablack representative dropped a three-round unanimous decision to his compatriot at ONE Friday Fights 137, and that decision taught the 29-year-old a few things about himself.

In a recent interview with ONE Championship, Suablack spoke about the internal mental struggles that lead to poor performance.

The Bangkok citizen said:

“Honestly, he was the reason I didn’t perform well during the night. I put a lot of pressure on myself. Plus, we were training together, so he could read my game and anticipate my movements quite easily.”

Swablk added:

“I’m not talking about the fact that I missed a three-fight winning streak. Fighting Pakorn was a great experience – being able to test my skills against someone like him for the full three rounds was a win in itself.”

It goes without saying that Suablack is looking to do much better next time he’s in the ONE Championship ring, and fans won’t have to wait long to see the Thai star back in action.
