Joe Giddens/Wire PAFormer Premier League referee David Coote has pleaded guilty to taking an indecent photograph of a child.
The 43-year-old was charged in August following an investigation by Nottinghamshire Police.
He appeared in court on Tuesday in connection with an allegation relating to a Category A video, the most serious type, found by police in February.
Coote, of Woodhill Road, Collingham, Nottinghamshire, was granted conditional bail and will appear in court on December 11.
He previously pleaded not guilty to the charge at a hearing on September 10 at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court.
Dressed in a navy suit and black tie, Kot spoke only to confirm his name and make his confession during the six-minute hearing before Justice Nirmal Shant KC.
He was sacked last year due to comments he made in a video clip about former Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp.
The judge told Coote that she had ordered a pre-sentence report to be conducted.
