Formula 1 2026: Predict how the drivers’ and constructors’ championships will end

The biggest rule change in Formula 1 history has the potential to produce some surprising results during the 2026 season.

As teams start from scratch this year with a new car, engine and active aerodynamics, what will the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships look like when the curtain comes down in December after 24 races?

Last season, the McLaren team won the constructors’ title with Briton Lando Norris being crowned champion for the first time. The team also won the constructors’ title twice in a row, six races before the end of the season.

This time, Mercedes and George Russell were named favorites for the new season, while Aston Martin, with a car designed by Adrian Newey, struggled through the six days of testing in Bahrain.

Before the season begins in Australia next weekend, prepare your predictions for how the two championships will end by making driver selections first, followed by team selections.
