Brass Singhal: Following a difficult match away to Newcastle, Manchester City are now on an excellent run of games that sees them play Leeds, Sunderland twice and West Ham in the next seven weeks. Their opponents this week, Leeds, have conceded 13 goals in their past six league matches and have failed to keep a clean sheet away from home in 2025-26.

Erling Haaland is the obvious choice, and will likely captain the hat-trick for the next several weeks, but who else could we target?

In defence, Josko Gvardiol (£5.8m) is the safest long-term option given the security of minutes, but Nico O’Reilly (£5m) at left-back provides an excellent attacking threat with one goal and two assists this season.

His rival for the place, Rayan Ait Nouri (£5.7m), failed to impress in the Champions League in midweek and the place looks set to lose to O’Reilly.

In midfield, we once again have a safer option in Phil Foden (£8m) who has started nine consecutive league games, averaging 86.7 minutes per game. However, he only has two offensive goals to show for it.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Doku (£6.5m) has been the explosive option with five strikers already on the bounce this season.
