Every Manchester City player carries a bit of a question mark as they enter a spell that also includes Newcastle away in the FA Cup, two matches against Real Madrid and a Carabao Cup final against Arsenal.

But it’s also impossible to doubt Pep Roulette, so start Semenho with confidence – Fernandes is my vice-captain if he’s not playing.

With a team-high four shots last week and creating a big chance, Tavernier finished with extra points and an assist.

He has plenty of ways to pick up points for a £5.3m midfielder facing a Brentford side that conceded three goals – and perhaps should have been more – at Burnley.

Kiernan Dewsbury Hall, Everton£5 million – Burnley (h)

KDH is a forgotten budget gem after his lingering injury, but he’s had three comebacks in four games and is always a good shout for defensive contribution points.

This home game against Burnley is too good to miss.
