FPL Talking Point: When will you reintroduce Bruno Fernandes?

Holly Shand: “Fernandez is quickly gaining a starting place again, having been the highest-scoring midfielder in the game before a hamstring problem kept him out for most of the festive period.

“Playing as a No. 10 increased his attacking threat and we saw him make six key passes in the 2-0 win over Manchester City, including four big chances.

“He is the most prolific creator in the Premier League this season, leading the way among all players in terms of key passes (62) and big chances created (15). He has nine assists, and dominates from set-pieces, including penalties.

“The Gunners have achieved 11 clean sheets this season, including back-to-back games. They won this game 1-0, but more importantly Manchester United have confidence with the new manager on the bounce, as well as an emphatic win in the derby.

“In that toughest game, Fernandes notched two defensive contribution points, which bodes well for his ways of getting points against Arsenal – he has a higher ceiling than Bryan Mbeumo for example.”
