Gabby Thomas recently made a stunning appearance at the 2026 ATX Open Tennis Championships during her time off. Thomas last competed at the 2025 USATF Championships, where she captured a bronze medal in the 200 meters.

Amidst her off-season, Thomas has been seen participating in multiple activities, including media appearances, launching her signature collection, and attending several sporting events. She was recently spotted at the WTA 250 Championship, and the 2026 ATX Open in Austin, Texas. She was accompanied by her fiancé, Spencer McManis, while attending the final round between Peyton Stearns and Taylor Townsend.

After the exciting finals, Thomas posed for photos with the winner, Stearns, and runner-up, Townsend. She was seen wearing a striped shirt and a pair of jeans. The Olympic runner paired her outfit with multiple bracelets, shoes and a New Balance hat. She completed her look with her diamond engagement ring.

Thomas also shared some glimpses from her appearance at Westwood Country Club in Austin, Texas, on Instagram. She was seen cheering for Taylor Townsend. She shared a photo of her American colleague, and added two applause emojis.

Stearns edged Townsend 7-6(8), 7-5 to claim the 2026 ATX Open title. Townsend went on to win the doubles event alongside partner Storm Hunter.

Gabby Thomas recently unveiled her signature spike collection with her long-time sponsor, New Balance, on Sunday, March 1, 2026. She launched the new bold pink shoe in collaboration with the American multinational footwear and apparel brand, showcasing her strong partnership with them.

The new, impressively designed nailer is called the Gabby Thomas FuelCell SuperComp MD-X v3. She revealed the nails in a video. The new spikes provide multiple specialized features with propulsive feel and efficiency for mid- and long-distance athletes. The lightweight track spikes weigh 147 grams (5.2 oz) and feature a sleek look with a carbon fiber plate and removable pins.

The shoe features a breathable mesh upper with bold sublimation details. The new spikes come with a special touch from the three-time Olympic gold medalist, including his signature on the heel pad. New pins cost about $169.99. Thomas has been partnered with New Balance since 2022, after signing the deal during her final year at Harvard.
