“Lead Investigator Gary Florencio obtained and viewed surveillance video footage, which corroborates key elements of the victim’s statements,” the statement read.

Davis is also facing a civil lawsuit filed in October by his ex-girlfriend, Courtney Russell.

The lawsuit charges Davis with battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Russell is also seeking punitive and compensatory damages “in excess of $50,000” (£38,100) and to request a jury trial.

Davis was scheduled to fight YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul at an exhibition in Miami on November 14, but the bout was canceled after the lawsuit was filed.

Six months ago, another ex-girlfriend dropped a domestic violence case against Davis.

He was also arrested on domestic violence battery charges in February 2020 and December 2022.

Davis served 44 days in jail in 2023 after violating the terms of a 90-day house arrest sentence, in connection with a criminal hit-and-run that occurred in his hometown of Baltimore in November 2020.
