✅ **What You’ll Learn**:
At Google IO 2026, the company unveiled a new version of its proxy coding app, Google Antigravity 2.0, with an updated desktop app, a CLI tool, and a custom workflow SDK. The company launched its Antigravity tool last year as a response to proxy encryption software like Cursor.
With the new desktop app, users can coordinate multiple agents and perform tasks simultaneously, the company said. Additionally, you can design custom sub-agent workflows and schedule tasks that can run automatically in the background. The new app also lets you easily integrate projects with Google AI Studio, Android, and Firebase.
Much of this is powered by the company’s new Gemini 3.5 Flash model, which was co-developed with Antigravity, Google said.
Google is also adding support for native voice commands to Antigravity, just as it has added to several consumer products, including Gmail and Docs. It is launching a new Antigravity CLI (command line interface) tool for programmers who want to use a terminal to create agents. Google is asking users who used the Gemini CLI tool to move to the new tool.
Furthermore, Google is releasing the Antigravity SDK for developers to create custom agents based on Google’s proprietary markup tool. The company will allow Google Cloud customers to connect to Antigravity to build projects. It noted that it will release custom agent templates in AI Studio for enterprise users to get started.
Google is also adding an Antigravity export tool to AI Studio for developers to export their existing project and continue working locally.
Google uses Antigravity’s coding chips in consumer products like search, where users will get a custom UI generated in real-time as part of the answer. The company said that users here will be able to create small applications while exploring a topic within the search.
The company is introducing a new AI Ultra plan for $100, which offers 5x higher AI limits in Antigravity compared to the Pro plan.

It also drops the price of its best AI Ultra plan from $250 to $200, allowing for limits 20 times higher than the Pro plan. Other AI labs, including Anthropic and OpenAI, have added $100 and $200 per month plans in the past few years to create a tiered system for users with different AI usage requirements.
