✅ **What You’ll Learn**:

SpaceX has struck another computing deal ahead of its historic IPO, this time with Google. The company announced the deal in a regulatory filing on Friday.

Under the terms of the deal, Google will pay SpaceX $920 million per month from October 2026 through June 2029 for access to “approximately 110,000 NVIDIA GPUs, central processing units, memory and other related components.”

The deal is similar in length and scope to the one SpaceX announced with Anthropic in late May. Anthropic has agreed to pay SpaceX $1.25 billion a month through 2029 to rent computing from one of its Colossus data centers near Memphis, Tennessee, which xAI — now part of SpaceX — originally built for its own AI efforts.

Also like the humanitarian deal, the agreement with Google includes an opt-out clause. SpaceX and Google each have the option to terminate the agreement with 90 days’ notice after December 31, 2026.

SpaceX announced the deal just one week before the company’s shares began trading on the Nasdaq stock exchange. Papers filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission show the company aims to raise about $75 billion at a valuation of about $1.75 trillion — making it the largest in history.

Google is a long-time investor in SpaceX. Its stake in Musk’s company is expected to be worth more than $100 billion after the IPO.
