✅ Here’s what you’ll learn:

Midfielder Gilmour was forced off with an adductor muscle injury shortly before half-time during Napoli’s 0-0 draw with Como just over a week ago.

He has since missed the midweek Champions League draw with Eintracht Frankfurt and Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to fellow Scot Lewis Ferguson’s Bologna side as the Italian champions dropped from first to fourth.

The Scottish Football Association revealed on Monday: “Billy Gilmour will not travel to the training camp in Türkiye due to injury, so he will not play any role in the match against Greece.”

Miller was also missing from Udinese’s squad as they lost 2-0 to Roma, while McCrory came off after 57 minutes of Bristol City’s 1-1 draw with Watford.

McCrory has been called upon by Scotland coach Clarke to provide right-back cover with Brentford’s Aaron Hickey just back from injury sustained during the last international window and with Derby County’s Max Johnstone and Everton’s Nathan Patterson now sidelined.

Scotland are second behind Denmark on goal difference, and with Brian Rimmer’s side potentially picking up three points against bottom-of-the-table Belarus, Clarke’s men need a point against already eliminated Greece in order to set up a winner-takes-all group for a direct qualification spot.

Whoever finishes second will get a second chance through the qualifiers.
