How to watch the Oscars (2026)

who knows! That’s why the Oscars are so fun, but they’re especially fun this year.

Oscar fever has reached an all-time high. The list of nominees is extraordinarily full of Hollywood flash, foreign treasures, and true art-house gems. Our friends at The Ringer have deemed the first few months of 2026 “the craziest awards season in years.” Even Kalshi appeared.

If you can’t wait to enjoy the biggest night in Hollywood, here’s how to tune in.

How to watch

The Main Event – officially known as 98th Annual Academy Awards Ceremony– It will be broadcast on Sunday 15 March. The party starts on 7pm EST, 4pm PTand Midnight in the UK.

Just like last year, the Oscars will be streamed live on Hulu. And yes, that’s all levels of Hulu. You don’t need the Hulu + Live TV option, you can watch the Oscars on regular Hulu. snick.

Not in a holo cell? You can listen to your local ABC station, either on cable or over the air. You can also watch the show live if you subscribe to one of the comprehensive TV packages that carry ABC content, such as YouTube TV, DirecTV or Fubo.

If you live outside the US, you can still watch. Dozens of international partners will broadcast ABC’s live broadcast in their markets. Check the official list to find your local station. Just know that these services are geo-blocked outside of their home countries, so if you don’t find your country listed here, you’ll have to use a VPN to watch streaming from another country.

Other things to know

There’s a red carpet preview that starts 30 minutes before the actual ceremony, so if you want to see who wore high fashion and who went to the Nordstrom Rack, log on at 6:30 EST, 3:30 PT.

O’Brien is the host again this year, a decision we fully support. Konnan must be excited too, because he was there promoting the party to the media circles. It was on Michelle Obama International Maritime Organization Last week’s podcast. The week before that, he was there New Yorker Radio Hour Talk to David Remnick about the job.
