In a vote of confidence for Meta’s Threads, Kalshi adds a sharing feature

Kalshi Prediction Market makes it easy to have conversations on Meta’s social network. Kalshi now offers a sharing option that will automatically embed the relevant prediction market chart into your topics post.

Whether people want to debate who will win Best Picture or which reality TV contestant will go home (and perhaps bet on the outcome on Kalshi) “With this integration, people can share their opinions alongside the predictions they see on Kalshi,” the company said in a blog post.

It’s a move that reflects the successful social media strategy of both Kalshi and its biggest competitor, Polymarket, on X. However, things have gotten complicated for Kalshi on X lately. In June, Company X appointed Polymarket as its “official” prediction market partner.

Last month, Kalshi removed its affiliate badges from X accounts managed by sponsored traders. This came after X enacted a policy preventing sponsored accounts from posting about sports betting. The policy was adopted after prediction markets were reported to have breached their partnership with fake sports insiders who spread misleading information.

While the share button isn’t as important as what the markets are predicting with X, it’s a vote of confidence in X’s competitor just two months after user data showed threads growing faster than X.
