Irish Cup: Defending champions Dungannon Swifts advance to the sixth round with victory over Ards

Drumaness produced the biggest upset of the day as the Northern Amateur Football League side recorded a comfortable win over Second Division strugglers Armagh City.

They took the lead through Adam Garland in the 13th minute and second half goals from Rhys Doyle, Jack Sharvin and Declan Looney saw them place in the next round.

Ethan Duggan-Ballantyne scored what proved to be a consolation for Armagh from the penalty spot.

An extra-time brace from Ronan Wilson helped the Welders eventually beat Moyola at Meadow Mill.

The Championship side took the lead four minutes later from Michael McLellan’s header, and David Parkhouse equalized for the hosts in the 11th minute.

Cead McGrath then put Moyola ahead, but Ethan Devine equalized and Wilson produced two brilliant extra-time goals to win for the Welders.

Gary Hamilton’s Ballymacash side will also be in the Round 6 draw as two goals from Harry O’Neill and a late goal from Robert Robinson saw them beat Comber Rec.

The visitors finished with nine men as Brandon Nelson and Christoper Murray were both sent off, while Stuart Clarke was sent off for Cash.

Goals from Michael Kennedy, Rodney Brown, Louis Tush and Philip Lowry helped Limavady United beat Lisburn Rangers, with Anthony Burns scoring for the visitors.
