Is the stock market open for Veterans Day? Here’s the fall and winter holiday schedule

Bond trading is scheduled to stop on Tuesday. The stock market will operate as usual.

The US bond market will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. The stock markets will maintain normal business hours on that day.

Both markets will then be closed for Thanksgiving, which falls on November 27. Trading will resume on November 28 but will end early, at 1pm for stocks and 2pm for bonds.

Before Christmas, the stock market will stop at 1pm and the bond market at 2pm on December 24. Both will remain closed through the December 25 holiday.

Traders will end the year with more stops. Both markets will be closed on January 1 for New Year’s Day, and bond trading will end at 2pm on December 31.
