✅ Here’s what you’ll learn:

Despite some difficulties in Holland, Fishlock was part of the team that won back-to-back Eredivisie titles, a sign of things to come at club level.

Upon her return to Bristol, she was named Women’s Super League (WSL) Player of the Year in her second season and enjoyed further success in Australia soon after.

After joining Melbourne Victory, Fishlock excelled as the Victoria-based side reached the Grand Final twice, winning their first title in 2013.

An eye-catching move to Seattle Reign in 2013 proved to be the catalyst in making Fishlock a star on the world stage.

She helped the club win three NRL Shield titles, and even during her loan spells away from the US side, which totaled six titles, success still followed.

In fact, the midfielder has tasted further league glory with Glasgow, Melbourne City, Frankfurt and Lyon – winning the Champions League with each of the latter two clubs.

But the abundance of honors was not repeated on the international scene.

Fishlock has wasted no time in becoming a staple under Andy Beattie, Adrian Tucker, Jarmo Matikainen, Jane Ludlow, Gemma Grainger and more recently Wilkinson.

Despite her impressive performances, goals, assists and endeavours, qualifying for the tournament has been too much of a hurdle for Wales for most of her career. Although, fortunately, not for all of that.
