What is the Joseph C. Belden Award?

This award is named after Joseph C. Builden – a leader in connectivity and communications – recognizes startups and breakthrough solutions that are driving meaningful change across connected industries. From digital infrastructure and cybersecurity to industrial automation and intelligent operations, the program recognizes technologies that deliver real, measurable impact.

What are we looking for?

A critical focus for 2026 is the convergence of IT and OThighlighting solutions that link information technology and operating systems. As organizations modernize their operations and connect physical and digital environments, technologies that unify these areas are becoming essential for performance, agility, and growth.

What do finalists get?

Finalists will receive more than just recognition. Selected innovators gain access to industry visibility, executive audiences, and co-marketing opportunities specifically designed to scale up their solutions and accelerate adoption. Winners will be announced live on Belden Innovation Summit, June 9-11, 2026, in Detroitwhere industry leaders will come together to explore the technologies shaping what comes next.

What does it take to be eligible?

Eligibility is open to small and medium-sized businesses with revenues of less than $500 million and products launched on or after July 1, 2024, with at least one customer deployed.
