Kate Graham: Tottenham Hotspur striker joins Ipswich Women on loan

Tottenham Hotspur striker Kate Graham has joined Ipswich Town Women on loan for the rest of the season.

The 30-year-old is Ipswich’s third signing this week, after midfielder Colette Kavanagh and winger Lucy Ashworth-Clifford, who both played abroad after spells in Scottish football.

Ipswich are bottom of the Women’s Super League, five points from safety, and will play at home to third-placed Bristol City on Sunday (14:00 GMT).

Graham scored 11 goals in 88 appearances for Tottenham, including playing in the 2024 FA Women’s Cup Final.

“I definitely feel like I can offer something to the group that will help me through the second half of this season,” she said.

“The infrastructure and facilities available to us as players are excellent and I feel like this is a great next step for me.”

There is an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

Town coach Sean Burt said: “She will be a great addition on the field thanks to her quality and experience, and equally valuable off the field, through her leadership and professionalism.”
